Drum practice for electronic kitsLearn real drums on the songs you love.
JamJamz is a drum practice app that teaches real drumming on an electronic kit, one section at a time, using songs from your own Clone Hero library. Loop the part you are stuck on, slow it down without changing pitch, see how every hit lands, and let the tempo climb as you get it clean.

How does JamJamz work?
You pick one small piece of a song you love and practice just that, slowly at first, with honest feedback on every hit. When it is clean, JamJamz speeds it up.
- 01
Point it at your songs
Choose your Clone Hero songs folder once. JamJamz reads it in place and remembers it.
- 02
Pick a section
A chorus, a fill or a few bars. Start slow, at 60 percent by default.
- 03
Play along on your kit
Every hit is timed against the real part and marked hit, early, late or missed.
- 04
Climb to full speed
After 3 clean passes the tempo steps up, until you can play it at 100 percent.
What does JamJamz do?
It turns a song into a lesson: loops, a tempo ladder, timing for every hit and every limb, and real drum notation.
Section loops
Pick a section from the chart's markers, such as a chorus or a fill, or drag across the bars you want. JamJamz loops it with a count-in before every pass, so you can repeat one hard spot until it is clean instead of restarting the whole song.
More about section loopsTempo ladder
JamJamz slows the loop without changing its pitch, starting at 60 percent by default. After 3 clean passes in a row it raises the tempo by 5 percent, step by step, until you reach full speed. You can change the start, the step, the target and the clean passes needed.
More about tempo ladderHit-by-hit feedback
It matches every hit from your kit to the nearest note in the chart, within 150 milliseconds. Each note is marked hit, early, late or missed, and stray hits are marked extra. Offsets are shown in real milliseconds, so they mean the same thing at any tempo.

Switch a loop to hands only or feet only, then put it back together. JamJamz judges only the part you chose, so you can lock in the kick pattern or the hand pattern on its own before playing everything at once.
More about hands and feetNotation and highway
The loop is drawn as standard drum notation with a moving playhead, and each note is colored by how you played it. Beside it runs a scrolling note highway, either a Rock Band style track or plain lanes, so you can read whichever suits you.
More about notation and highwayProgress per section
It saves progress per song, difficulty and section: your best clean tempo, how many notes you played on time, and your timing per limb. Each section shows its best tempo, so you can see at a glance which parts are solid and which need work.
